Framing has become an important part of my creative process, its awesome being able to stand in the field, taking pictures and thinking about complimentary frame design and wooden tones in the images that I ill will later pull together as a finished piece of Art ready for the market!

All frames are currently made frame reclaimed power pole cross arms sourced from around the South Island.

Most being New Zealand and Australian hardwoods and carrying a lot of character from their arduous lives. I generally make all my frames from these and either use with a Natural Finish or alternatively a Dark Wax Finish.

Along side this with cutting my own Matts and Glass allows me to be flexible with the sizes and ratios of my frames unlike standard frames!
